Cookies and quiet preferences
A useful guide should not require you to be followed around the web. The site’s own code includes no advertising technology, behavioural analytics or embedded social feeds. Reading the guides does not require accepting optional tracking.
Cookies and local storage are different
A cookie is a small value a website can ask your browser to store and send with later requests. Local storage holds values in your browser for the same site, but does not automatically send them with web requests. Both can remember preferences, and both deserve a clear explanation.
The supplied site code does not set HTTP cookies. Ordinary hosting and security infrastructure can have separate technical behaviour. This page describes the storage used by the website’s own functionality, not a guarantee about unrelated browser software or every infrastructure setting.
What this site remembers
If you use the controls below, the site stores one local-storage entry named nebulabophangoucre.preferences.v1. It contains your preference and the time it was updated. Its purpose is to remember your choice on this browser. It is not used to identify you across websites.
The entry has no automatic expiry in the current implementation. It remains until you clear it here, clear site data in your browser or your browser removes it. A different device or browser has a separate preference. Private-browsing modes may clear storage when the session ends.
The contact-draft tool does not save your name, reply address or message in this entry or elsewhere in local storage. Copying a draft uses the clipboard only when you request it; downloading creates a file only when you request it.
Your preference, here
No optional trackers are currently installed. “Accept” records permission for optional storage but does not activate any analytics or advertising service. “Essential only” records that optional storage is declined. Any future optional purpose would need a clear explanation and appropriate consent before activation.
JavaScript is needed to read or save a browser preference. No optional trackers are active.
Changing your mind
Return here from the “Privacy preferences” link in any footer. Choose a different preference or clear the saved choice. Clearing it removes the preference entry; it does not delete files you downloaded, text on your clipboard or email you sent.
You may also block storage or remove site data in your browser. The guides remain readable without a saved choice. If storage is blocked, the controls will explain that the preference could not be saved.
Questions about data
For hosting information, correspondence and privacy requests, see the personal data outline or write to [email protected]. This explanation should be updated if the site’s actual storage practices change.
